Atlantis

by Jeremy on May 18th, 2007

I fucked up the delay when optimzing Atlantis 0.9c.  That’s no good at all.

I’ve put together a new version that fixes that problem, and also makes some of the UI elements more visible.

Thanks to everyone that reported the problem, I appreciate the feedback.

You can download it here and read the manual at http://jeremyevers.com/atlantis

Thanks a lot for this wonderful plug-in. Very nice sound and the effect plug-in is an instant favorite.

    Jeremy,

I’m beginning to get a feel for Atlantis, but as I’m sure you know, it is very different from other synths and requires a special working style.

I’ve discovered one problem that occurs frequently: Many of the popup menus appear to be off by one (running within Sonar Studio 6 on Windows XP SP2). I’ve experienced this with the filter and effect lists, as well as a few other places.

Hi and thanks for a great synth! I have a feature request/suggestion: How about writing the location of the chips-folder to the registry so that it doesn’t have to be placed directly into C:\ ? I’m not too excited of having a lot of folders directly in C:, kind of bothers me (i know, i’m weird!).
    Thanks again, Atlantis rocks!

    Awesome synth!
It has a great intuitive interface and the sound is juicy and warm. I’ve never really been inspired by software synths until this one- the layout is perfect. Whatever you do, don’t change it! And don’t let NI buy it and turn it into a slobbering dog :)

    Hi Jeremy,

Thank you for a great synth, runs well in
FL Studio. Atlantis is great for making
industrial musick. I own various pro synths
for example - Native Instruments Absynth,
but I find myself loading Atlantis as often as Absynth when I want to generate rhythmical industrial noize. Keep up the good work.

    Ooops!

Beta 0.9D shows 0.9c on Gui config menu.
    Great machine!
    Best regards!

Hey ya jeremy what’s up with the great VST? Still at version 0.9D, and still “beta”. Release it as final (not beta).
