Winamp

Not sure why I never mentioned this here before. Ages ago, I made the File Deleter v2 plugin for Winamp. I still get emails from excited users on a regular basis. Most requested feature: hotkeys. I have not worked on this in years, but it’s great to hear from people that enjoy it.

You’re fly! Thanks! This program works perfectly! I can erase songs I don’t like while I am playing it in Winamp. I love software that is easy to use and just plain works!

Yes this programm works on Vista64! But I’m looking for a possibiliti to delete a song by shortcut.
Olways to turn the monitor on for deleting a song is not the best.

ive been having the same issue– lack of hotkey support. This other solution allows you to acomplish the same functions while also enabling global hotkeys within winamp. works like a charm

Hey, Love the plugin, just what I was looking for.
I have a problem though where it doesn’t work if the gen_tray.dll plugin is present (comes default with winamp now). I have to remove this plugin that I use all the time to use yours. If both are there it replaces one of the tray control icons with yours but still behaves as tray control, even if the tray control is not enabled. Please help.

I use Winamp File Deleter (also since ages) and I like it very much. Now I have installed the shurtcut-version. Thank you very much for this hint.

Thanks for a great plug in!
I use this as the file deletion function is overly cumbersome in wimamp itself. It still works with version 5.57 , just remove the gen_tray.dll plugin and it functions as expected.
